The Arsenal star expresses how much he enjoyed the trophy parade and this season.

Mosquera showed his top-class potential against PSG.

Arsenal’s Christhian Mosquera was at fault against PSG as he needlessly fouled Khvicha Kvaratskhelia inside the box and gifted Ousmane Dembele a penalty that he subsequently tucked away.

Mosquera was having a flawless game as he managed to keep Kvaratskhelia quiet despite playing as a makeshift right-back before his mistake.

Mikel Arteta took the Spaniard off as he was already on a yellow card and brought Jurrien Timber on.

Timber was fit to face PSG but not ready to start the game while Ben White’s MCL injury has ruled him out of the 2026 World Cup. On Monday, Mosquera released an emotional statement on Instagram.

Christhian Mosquera on Champions League final defeat and Arsenal parade

Mosquera has impressed this season but the defender expressed his regret about erring in the Champions League final and the subsequent loss to PSG.

The 21-year-old wrote: “Wow…how quickly everything can change in a matter of moments. When it feels like everything is going perfectly, just as you dreamed of since you were a child, suddenly, in an instant, one action changes everything.

“I’ve spent my whole life dreaming of moments like this, but it didn’t turn out the way I wanted. And that’s when God reminded me that faith is not based on the final result I achieve, but on how I continue to trust after a setback. This is a setback that, despite all the pain it brings, will only make me stronger.”

Declan Rice as well as Noni Madueke seemingly enjoyed the trophy parade and so did Mosquera, who also expressed his happiness at winning the Premier League title in his debut campaign at Arsenal.

“Even so, my first season at this club has been unforgettable. Champions of England! Seeing so many people happy yesterday was an incredible feeling. Enjoying this beautiful moment because you deserve it, and I’m sure many more joyful moments are coming soon for this club because we still have so much to experience together.

“Proud of each and every one of us. Blessed to be part of this group and this huge club. Thank you! This is Arsenal!”

Christian Mosquera showed his incredible potential against PSG

Mosquera could have let Kvaratskhelia run through instead of hacking him down as the PSG winger would still have had to test Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya.

However, it is important to remember that the former Valencia wonderkid is still a young player and he will make needless errors at this stage of his career. Moreover, Mosquera is a centre-back by trade.

Yet, he managed to tame arguably the best left-winger in the world in Kvaratskhelia. It is clear to see that Mosquera is a top talent and in the future, he could develop into a world-class player.

Mikel Arteta and his cohort should encourage the Alicante-born starlet as for most of the final, he was terrific and has generally been solid at the back throughout the campaign.
