Unlike some of his teammates, Reece James is more than happy with life at Chelsea and is not planning on going anywhere.
Right now, Enzo Fernandez and Marc Cucurella are thought to be eyeing exits. Fernandez’s agent has been in talks with Jorge Mendes as he seeks assistance in helping his client secure a move to Real Madrid this summer.
Cucurella could also be heading for Spain, but James has no intention of ditching the Blues.

Reece James states he only wants to play for Chelsea
James has shared that his only dream is to play for Chelsea, meaning there is unlikely to be a big-money move to Real Madrid or Barcelona in the future.
In an interview with GQ, he said: “I wanted Chelsea through and through, my dream is to only play here so I’m over the moon to be captaining the team.”
Things did not go to plan for Chelsea this season, but James can be pleased with how his campaign went.
The defender managed to stay fit for the majority of the year. In total, he made 39 appearances across all competitions.
James is now set to play at the World Cup after being called up for the England squad. He was the only Chelsea player to be included in the 26-man list, with Thomas Tuchel leaving out Cole Palmer, Levi Colwill and Trevoh Chalobah.

Some of Europe’s biggest clubs have shown interest in Reece James in the past
Everything is pointing towards James retiring at Chelsea, then, which is bad news for the likes of Manchester City and Real Madrid.
City once wanted to sign James, while the right-back has also been linked to Real Madrid before. The signing of Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is only one year older than James, probably rules out Real Madrid making a move for him in the future.
But even if they did, James’ words suggest he would turn down the Spanish giants and any other club. The England international only has eyes for Chelsea, and hopefully that never changes. All in all, James is on course to become a Chelsea legend.
