Taty Castellanos has emerged as a possible target for David Moyes’ Everton.
The striker impressed after joining from Lazio in January, netting seven goals in 22 appearances.

But after relegation to the Championship, he is likely to leave the club in the coming weeks or months. That comes after reports last month that Castellanos has no intention of playing in the Championship.
He then hinted towards an imminent exit in an Instagram post, in which he thanks West Ham fans for their support.
That has fuelled ongoing rumours of a London Stadium departure, with several clubs reportedly keeping a close eye on his situation.
One of those clubs is Everton, according to Football Insider, who have reportedly been impressed by the Argentine’s performances in the Premier League.
That comes as no surprise, given Taty proved he can perform in the Premier League with a string of impressive outings in claret and blue.
Moyes could target Taty
Former West Ham manager David Moyes may be keen on giving Castellanos a Premier League lifeline.
Former Hammers scout Mick Brown believes Moyes and Everton will have been impressed by the 27-year-old’s performances and could tempted to replace either Beto or Thierno Barry with the striker.
Speaking to Football Insider, he said: “Castellanos is one I expect to leave West Ham.
“His agent will already be busy speaking to clubs trying to drum up interest and seeing who might be interested in his client, it’s always the way it works.
“He’s popped up with a few goals and some good performances, I think he’s shown he’s good enough to play in the Premier League, so I have no doubt there will be interest.
“Everton, for example, are in need of a new striker and they could do far worse than him.
“Their scouts and recruitment people will have been keeping an eye on his performances for West Ham, and they will have been impressed by what they’ve seen.
“He’s shown he can score goals in the Premier League even for a struggling side, so somebody like Everton with their ambitions might be a good fit.
“I think what he’s done at West Ham has shown he could do a job, and probably a better one than Beto and Barry have been doing.”
West Ham do want to convince Castellanos to stay at the club for another season, with Nuno Espirito Santo having five first-team players he desperately doesn’t want to lose as he rebuilds a squad capable of winning promotion at the first time of asking.
But it’s claimed Taty wants to stay in the Premier League and is not interested in spending at least one season in the Championship.
After the club posted record losses of £104m earlier this year, it’s likely they’ll be forced to sell the striker if a big enough offer comes in for him.
