Arsenal have been crowned Premier League champions, but attention has already turned to the summer transfer window. Mikel Arteta spoke after the UEFA Champions League final defeat of wanting the club to be ambitious amid big decisions that needed to be made.

This alluded to the work that will need to be done this summer regarding squad building, amongst other things. Andrea Berta, the club's sporting director, had a storming first summer in the role and his work helped contribute to the title victory.

But the targets are getting higher, with multiple trophies being targeted each season as the rest of the big clubs continue to go through transitions. With that in mind, kicking off with the Arsenal forwards, football.london goes through who must be kept or sold from the side.

Kai Havertz

Back-to-back Champions League final goals, including the winner against Burnley that ultimately won the club the title, in addition to scoring in other big games too, highlighted Kai Havertz’s importance. The worry remains fitness, but the hope is that after the World Cup, he can recover and have an injury-free 2026/27 campaign. Keep

Viktor Gyokeres

21 goals in his first season, which required some adapting. While he has his critics, of which I too have been amongst, the Swede with a season of top-flight English football under his belt is an exciting prospect. Keep.

Gabriel Jesus

Despite a purple patch in the winter, the highly paid Brazilian simply needs to find a new club. There is no future for him at Arsenal where regular game time exists, and room needs to be made for the likes of Eli Junior Kroupi. Sell.

Bukayo Saka

There is not much discussion here. Hope for more consistent game time next season after a good summer rest, and aim for 20-plus goals next season. Keep, obviously.

Noni Madueke

The reaction to the signing of Madueke from some was disgusting, hyperbolic and quite dark. Madueke has had good moments this season, and I think there is a player there, as I did last season, and the year before, and when he was at PSV.

However, I am not sure he’s going to get there with Arsenal, and on reflection, I think had his minutes been given to Ethan Nwaneri, we’d have got more from the youngster, if not as much. If an offer comes, which I doubt it will, I’d very much consider it. Sell.

Gabriel Martinelli

The time has come, after seven years, to say goodbye to Gabriel Martinelli. Arsenal need to sign a new left winger, and that means only one of the existing options can remain, and after this season (and the last few), that choice is an easy one. Sell.

Leandro Trossard

If Arsenal are to buy a new left-winger, what they need is a player who can be good from the start and from the bench consistently. Leandro Trossard is exactly that, and despite a drop in form this season, he’s done plenty to remind supporters just how good he is, including what proved to be the most important goal of the season at West Ham United. Keep.

Max Dowman

I am so excited to see what Max Dowman’s career has to offer. He will be turning 17 in the new season, which is the age Bukayo Saka burst onto the scene for Arsenal, and now it could be the time for the teenage sensation to get many more opportunities. Keep.

Reiss Nelson

Will this be the summer Reiss Nelson is finally sold by Arsenal? It should be, but the chances of getting a good fee seem very low; maybe we will be surprised. Sell.
