Arsenal are already being linked with as many as 10 players ahead of this summer’s transfer window. The Gunners are in for a busy few months in the transfer market as they prepare for next season, where they will defend the Premier League title.

Mikel Arteta and Co will also look to bounce back from their heartbreaking defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final, having lost in a tense penalty shootout.

Attention will now turn towards the summer transfer window, where Arsenal will be expected to go into the market for reinforcements as they look to win silverware once again.

It remains to be seen where Arsenal will ultimately strengthen their squad this summer, with a new midfielder, winger and potentially a striker seen as the most obvious priorities.

The Daily Mail has provided a new update on Arsenal’s transfer plans for this summer, including players who could be targets for the Gunners.

The report claims that Arsenal will look to beat Manchester United to the signing of two players this summer, including West Ham midfielder Mateus Fernandes.

Leicester City starlet Jeremy Monga has also emerged as a potential target for Arsenal this summer, with United also said to be interested in signing the talented 16-year-old.

They are not the only players to be linked with signing for Arsenal, though, with interest also credited around Newcastle United duo Sandro Tonali and Tino Livramento.

Whilst it has been claimed that both players will be able to leave St James’ Park, it would take sizeable fees to bring either of the duo to the Emirates Stadium.

Aston Villa and England star Morgan Rogers is also a known target for Arsenal, who is thought to be valued at around £80million.

Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi, who scored 13 goals in his full debut season in the Premier League, is also admired by Arsenal, but the expectation is that he will remain at the Vitality Stadium unless a substantial offer is submitted.

Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez is another target for Arsenal, but Barcelona are said to be the forward’s preferred destination. PSG are also said to be monitoring developments of Alvarez’s future.

It has also been claimed that Marcus Rashford could be a player of interest to Arsenal if the forward does not join Barcelona on a permanent deal following his loan from Manchester United.

Brentford striker Igor Thiago, who scored 22 goals for the Bees in the Premier League last season, is admired by the Gunners too.

Real Madrid starlet Victor Valdepenas is also mentioned as an option for Arsenal this summer, but it remains to be seen if the La Liga giants would be open to letting the 19-year-old defender leave the club.

Arsenal could make at least one signing relatively early this summer, with Piero Hincapie seemingly expected to become a Gunners player on a permanent basis for £45million following his loan from Bayer Leverkusen.

However, there have been reports that Barcelona are showing an interest in the defender, who was called up to the Ecuador squad for this summer’s World Cup on Monday.
