Liverpool have reached an agreement in principle to sign Andoni Iraola according to Fabrizio Romano.
It marks the latest decisive move from the club’s hierarchy following the shock decision to part ways with Arne Slot after just two seasons in charge.
Slot’s reign brought that long‑awaited 20th league title but also a hugely disappointing follow‑up campaign, and Liverpool’s owners have clearly decided that a fresh voice and a more aggressive style are needed to get the project back on track.
