The world has seen Arsenal Football Club for what it truly is. The sleeping giant has truly awoken, and the new Premier League champions have some new and powerful weapons to help them in the transfer market.
Hundreds of thousands of people, potentially in excess of a million according to Islington Council, attended a parade less than 24 hours after the UEFA Champions League final defeat to celebrate the title victory. The Arsenal players, who were believed to be somewhat sombre from the disappointment the night before, were energised within minutes of the parade starting as they looked out across a sea of red and white.
Kepa Arrizabalaga perhaps captured the best images as the buses rounded the corner onto Blackstock Road from the Twelve Pins pub at Finsbury Park station. Fans on the roads, on roofs, on trees and lampposts, red smoke filling the air.

When Gabriel Magalhaes missed his penalty, which ultimately cost the Gunners the UEFA Champions League final against PSG, many feared what might follow. Yet, it has since been revealed that sales of Arsenal shirts with the name and number of Gabriel went up by 350%.
The Brazilian’s chant was a regular feature during the parade. It was a show of appreciation and acknowledgement that, despite the error, Arsenal wouldn’t be where they are without him.
Any player, such as the likes of Morgan Rogers or Eli Junior Kroupi, for example, who have been linked with a move to North London, seeing this, how could they now be attracted by a move?
The biggest pull of all? The Premier League champions’ status itself. For years, Arsenal had been challengers, pretenders or wannabes. No longer is this the case.
Arsenal and Mikel Arteta have proven that this is a place to win the biggest honours. A place to succeed, a place for dominance and the aim is to win more and greater accolades too.
There can be no greater evidence than proof of winning itself. To any player wanted by Arsenal, the club now has that in its locker, and can now be weaponised to convince any target that, beyond the brilliant manager, players, stadium, and fans, they can win and win it all!
