Dani Dyer’s Strictly Come Dancing plans drives Jarrod Bowen towards Chelsea

An unexpected family dilemma involving Dani Dyer has completely blown the race wide open for Jarrod Bowen, leaving Chelsea ready to pounce on the West Ham forward.

Chelsea are actively exploring a move for West Ham United captain Jarrod Bowen as they look to add quality and leadership to their dressing room.

The Hammers’ catastrophic relegation to the Championship means the London club may be forced to offload their highest earners to balance a predicted £100 million revenue loss.

Despite West Ham’s miserable campaign, Bowen fought valiantly from the front, registering an impressive nine goals and a career-high 11 Premier League assists.

And the fact that Xabi Alonso is already a big fan of Bowen makes things interesting.

Dani Dyer wants Jarrod Bowen to stay in London

HeatWorld have given an update on the situation between Dani Dyer and Jarrod Bowen, following West Ham’s relegation to the Championship.

“Jarrod will be 30 this year, and this was probably his last chance to go to a World Cup. Although he does want to stay at West Ham, he doesn’t know what the future holds.

“The whole Dyer family want Jarrod to stay, so he’s feeling the pressure – but he needs to do what’s best for him. He’s been linked to Everton, Liverpool and Newcastle, which would mean a move up north – something Dani isn’t very keen on.

“Danny will be devastated if he leaves West Ham, too, and a move up north would really twist the knife.

DISCUSS: Jarrod Bowen is a better signing than Rafael Leao…

Chelsea have been linked with both this summer.

“Dani isn’t like a lot of footballers’ wives. She has her own commitments and can’t just pack up and follow him, but she doesn’t want to live apart from him with the kids.

“If Dani does Strictly, she’d ideally need to be close to London – and will want Jarrod nearby to help out. But playing in the Premier League means a better salary and a better career.”

Jarrod Bowen fits the versatile attacker mould for Xabi Alonso

Chelsea possesses a golden opportunity to secure the versatile forward Xabi Alonso craves by capitalising on West Ham’s relegation.

Alonso is determined to inject proven Premier League pedigree into his frontline, and Jarrod Bowen perfectly checks every box with his ability to lead the line or operate across either wing and in the middle.

The fact that Bowen is available for an incredibly affordable £40 million fee is a no-brainer.
