After losing the Champions League final on Saturday evening, Arsenal’s attention has firmly turned towards next season.
The Gunners lost to Paris Saint-Germain on penalties, with Eberechi Eze and Gabriel Magalhaes missing the decisive spot-kicks after the game had ended 1-1 after 120 minutes. Despite this gutting blow, Arsenal supporters were still able to extract immense joy from what has been a hugely successful season, celebrating their Premier League triumph in emphatic style on Sunday.
Over a million people attended the Gunners’ trophy parade through the streets of North London, highlighting how proud the club’s fans are of what Mikel Arteta and his players have achieved. With that said, here is the latest Arsenal news today, including updates on Morgan Rogers, Gabriel Magalhaes and Andrea Berta.

Aston Villa make Morgan Rogers sale stance clear
Arsenal are looking to enact another busy and ambitious summer window. The Gunners spent £250 million on eight players last year, and while an outlay this substantial isn’t expected this time around, a handful of big moves are expected.
Morgan Rogers is understood to be a primary target for Arsenal, although Berta may have been dealt a blow on this front. According to The Athletic, Aston Villa intend to keep Rogers in the West Midlands this summer.

While it’s not a surprise that Unai Emery is keen to hold on to one of his best players, this strong stance suggests Arsenal might have to pay over the odds to land the playmaker. They ought to have a rethink if this is the case.
Gabriel Magalhaes shirt sales rocket after Champions League final
Gabriel ballooned the ball over the bar when stepping up to take the decisive penalty in the shootout on Saturday evening. Having played so well in the final and throughout the entire season, this was a cruel way for the Brazilian’s campaign to end.
Arsenal fans have responded to the defender’s adversity by showing their support through shirt purchases. According to The Athletic, Gunners shirts with Gabriel on the back have increased by 350% since the final ended.
At one stage, the centre-back was outselling any other name by two times. Given he missed the penalty that essentially lost Arsenal the Champions League final, this is a huge show of faith and love for the player, who would’ve been hugely hurt by this fatal contribution.
Andrea Berta prepared to sell three key Arsenal players
Arsenal need to make sales this summer to create space and to raise funds for marquee new additions. The attacking cohort in Arteta’s squad is currently somewhat bloated and needs trimming.
According to the Telegraph, Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard and Ethan Nwaneri are up for sale this summer. Berta is prepared to let all three players go, as he targets the likes of Rogers and Eli Junior Kroupi.
Martinelli is said to be garnering interest from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich, while Trossard reportedly has suitors within the Premier League. As for Nwaneri, Cesc Fabregas is understood to be ‘pushing hard’ to acquire the youngster for Como.
