Liverpool will wrap up their pre-season schedule with two friendlies at Anfield, with the club announcing August meetings with AS Monaco and Como 1907.
The Reds head into the summer with renewed optimism, with Andoni Iraola close to being appointed as new head coach.
Iraola will oversee his first pre-season set to the backdrop of the World Cup, with Liverpool now slated for five warmup friendlies after the tournament’s conclusion.
Liverpool have now announced two high-profile friendlies at Anfield: against Ligue 1 side AS Monaco on Sunday, August 9 (2.30pm BST) and Serie A side Como 1907 on Sunday, August 16 (6pm BST).
Those two games follow a tour of the United States which will take in friendlies against Sunderland (July 25), Wrexham (July 30) and Leeds (August 2).
It has been over 20 years since Liverpool last faced Monaco, with the only two meetings in the clubs’ history coming in the Champions League group stage in 2004.
Meanwhile Como were only re-founded in 2017 and are yet to play the Reds in either a competitive fixture or friendly.
Liverpool are expected to kick off pre-season at the AXA Training Centre in early July, with Iraola poised to lead his first sessions in charge.
