Liverpool FC have confirmed two more friendlies for the 2026/27 pre-season, adding to the USA summer series.
The USA tour kicks off against Sunderland at Geodis Park in Nashville on July 25, in what will likely be Andoni Iraola’s first game on the sidelines.
Four days later, Liverpool head to New York, where they’ll face Wrexham at the iconic Yankee Stadium on July 29 – a clash that’s sure to draw huge attention given the Welsh club’s rapid rise and popularity around the world.
The final stop of the tour comes in Chicago on August 2, as the Reds meet Leeds United at Soldier Field.
In a new update, the Reds will now wrap up their 2026-27 pre-season schedule with back-to-back home friendlies at Anfield, welcoming AS Monaco on Sunday, August 9, before facing Como 1907 on Sunday, August 16.
The clash with Ligue 1 outfit Monaco is set for a 2.30pm BST kick-off. A week later, Serie A side Como make the trip to L4 for a 6pm BST start, in what will be the inaugural meeting between the two clubs.
It rounds off what is currently a six-game pre-season as things stand.
Beyond the dates and times, there are plenty of subplots that will keep fans clicking refresh between now and July. With the World Cup finishing in the sui some big names could be handed extended breaks, opening the door for academy prospects to follow in the footsteps of Rio Ngumoha.
It has been reported that the Anfield club can expect to earn in excess of £10m going by Manchester United’s documented figures in previous visits to the region.
The Reds’ pre-season preparations last summer saw the squad jet off to Asia, with stops in Hong Kong and Japan marking the club’s first visit to the region since 2023.
The tour proved a commercial and footballing success, with Liverpool facing AC Milan at the brand-new Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong- the first-ever football match hosted at the venue – before heading to Japan to take on Yokohama F. Marinos.
