Few Chelsea players can claim to have reached the heights of club legend Eden Hazard in their careers, although the man himself believes there was another former Blue who was better than him.
Hazard established himself as one of the best the Premier League has ever seen, winning two league titles during his time at Stamford Bridge.
Kyle Walker recently named Hazard as the toughest opponent of his career, and Gareth Bale believes he was one of the best he ever played alongside.

Chelsea legend Eden Hazard says Kevin de Bruyne was better than him
The Blues signed Hazard in 2012, and he was the most successful of a group of young players signed by the club around this time that also included Mohamed Salah.
They also brought in Kevin de Bruyne, however hardly gave him a chance to feature before eventually moving him on to Germany.

When doing a challenge for the TikTok page of DAZN Futbol, Hazard was asked to pick who the better player was out of himself and De Bruyne, to which he said his international teammate.
Premier League fans wouldn’t see the best of him until he made the move to Manchester City, showing his former side the talent they had let slip through their fingers.
De Bruyne scored five Premier League goals against Chelsea throughout his time in England, and was injured when the Blues travelled to Napoli for a Champions League clash this season.

De Bruyne ranked above other Chelsea legends
Those who have been watching Chelsea a little bit longer will put Frank Lampard on par with Hazard as the best to feature for the Blues.
However, a number of figures throughout Premier League history have actually rated De Bruyne above Chelsea’s all-time top goalscorer.
Jamie Carragher ranked De Bruyne as a better midfielder than Lampard, while former Blue Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall also ranked the Belgian above his compatriot.
Chelsea fans have been forced to just imagine what could have been if they’d have seen the best of Hazard, De Bruyne and Salah on the pitch together, rather than fighting it out on three different sides for the league titles.
