5 SENSIBLE Winger Transfers for Arsenal Ahead of Next Season

The 2025/26 season is now over. Despite their heartbreak in the final of the Champions League, losing out on penalties against PSG, this has been one of Arsenal’s most successful campaigns in decades.

Having won the Premier League title for the first time since 2004, the Gunners are in a very, very strong position at the moment. They are struggling in one particular position, though – the left-wing.

With Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard linked with moves away from the club, they are somewhat scant on the left flank. Eberechi Eze can play there, but he’s more suited to a number ten role than playing out wide.

As such, we’ve put together a list of five world-class wingers who Arsenal could pick up to fill the void. Who would be your preferred choice?

Morgan Rogers

Morgan Rogers does, admittedly, fall into the same category that Eze does – his best work usually comes from playing as an attacking midfielder, not as a winger.

That doesn’t mean to say he isn’t a capable wide man – far from it. He can create magic from the left flank, as it allows him to cut inside on his right foot and rattle off his patented shots from distance.

Rogers has been linked with a multitude of moves away from Aston Villa this summer. Arsenal are amongst those in the race, but competition for signature is fierce.

Kenan Yildiz

Arsenal have been monitoring Kenan Yildiz for a while now. Could the upcoming summer transfer window finally signal the time to pull the trigger?

At just 21 years of age, Yildiz is far from the finished product, but has already shown plenty of promise in his fledgling career so far.

He scored ten goals and notched up six assists in Serie A last season for Juventus. Furthermore, at 6ft 1, he is quite tall for a winger. We known all about Mikel Arteta’s affinity for set-pieces – such an x-factor will only make him more desirable to the Gunners’ scouting network.

Rafael Leao

Rafael Leao has been in the sights of multiple Premier League clubs over several transfer windows – this one has not proven to be an outlier.

It is easy to see why he’s so coveted. Not only is he very quick and skilful on the ball, he also possesses an acute eye for goal that has served him very well at AC Milan.

Like the previous two entries, interest in Leao’s signature is rife. As reigning Premier League champions, Arsenal might have a bit of extra sway, but only time will tell.

Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford’s status is up in the air at the moment. It is unclear whether he’ll return to Manchester United or stay at Barcelona – the confusion could open the door for Arsenal to make a surprise bid.

To be clear, Arsenal are considered outsider to snap Rashford up, but it would be an almighty coup for the Gunners if they can get their hands on him.

Rashford’s last season in the Premier League was worrying, but he more than made up for it with a brilliant season on loan at the Camp Nou, securing his first-ever league title in the process.

Bradley Barcola

Of all the players on this list, none of them are quite as coveted as Bradley Barcola is at the moment. Coming off the heels of his second Champions League trophy with PSG, his stock has never been higher.

Possessing electric pace and fantastic movement off the ball, Barcola is lethal – it is very difficult to maintain a high line against him.

Of course, he will not come cheap. PSG are in no hurry to move him on, but his contract is due to expire in 2028 – they could be persuaded to sell him before then.
