To be honest, Lewis Hall’s name is not one I’ve heard yet in connection with Bayern Munich. What I can say is that it’s true Bayern Munich are searching for left-backs. As I’ve mentioned already with Bisseck, however, it’s dependent on the club selling a player – in this case, it would be Hiroki Ito. The Japanese defender has a price tag of €20m [£17.3m]. FC Bayern are still hoping to get a really huge offer from Saudi Arabia for Alphonso Davies. Then they’d have to think about that as well! But if they can’t sell Davies or Ito, they won’t be bringing in another player, which would mean bad news for Lewis Hall, and the same for Joško Gvardiol (who can play at left-back and centre-back). I think Bayern are testing the market to see if they can make something happen, but they have to sell a defender first.
