After winning the Premier League title it must be a scary thought for the rest of the division that Arsenal could get even better next season.
The Gunners are still hungry, thirsty for blood after losing the Champions League final and there is a fire in Mikel Arteta's belly.
Speaking to reporters after the full-time whistle in Budapest, the Spaniard said: "We start to make some very important decisions if we want to reach another level. And we're going to have to show that ambition. We are more than capable of doing it, but it's going to demand us to be very, very ambitious, very fast and very smart."

A rallying cry to the board and judging by some of Josh Kroenke's activity in the last few weeks, it's likely that KSE will present Arteta and Andrea Berta with the necessary funds to mount another challenge in 2026/27. Josh looks as much a fan as anyone else in the world right now.
Morgan Rogers seems to be the big target, but will his asking price prove to be prohibitive?
Arsenal looking to strengthen their wide options
Last summer, it was all about signing a new striker and they did that by welcoming Viktor Gyokeres to the Emirates Stadium. It was a brilliant signing at the time but the jury remains out on a player who netted 21 times during his debut campaign in north London.
This summer, it's all about the wide players. The likes of Yan Diomande and Bradley Barcola have both been the subject of interest but Aston Villa's Rogers appears to be the number one target for the Gunners.

The latest on that move is the attacker is likely to leave Villa Park and he is 'open' to a move to Arsenal. That said, with asking prices ranging from between £80m to £100m, this one is going to take some patience and negotiating.
While Rogers is very much for the present, Arsenal are also looking at signing players for the future. They have made great strides in that department over the last year. Two of the most notable names who are due to arrive are Holger and Edwin Quintero, the teenage twins currently in Ecuador.

Fabrizio Romano's exciting Arsenal transfer update is bad news for Trossard
Leandro Trossard may not be a regular at Arsenal for much longer.
Well, another dazzling young forward could be set to join in the form of Jeremie Monga. The 16-year-old, who does not turn 17 until next month, is set to pen his first professional terms with Leicester City but their relegation to League One has alerted Premier League teams to his services.
Reports last week suggested Arsenal had held talks to sign the player and were confident of getting a deal done. Well, their chances have been boosted even further with the BBC's Sami Mokbel revealing this week that Monga is 'open' to joining the club this summer.

The club have already 'moved' to secure his services but it remains to be seen whether the deal will go to a tribunal because of his age.
How Monga compares to Rogers and Saka
If Arsenal could get a deal over the line for Rogers this summer it would be an almighty sign of intent heading into next season.
A former PFA Young Player of the Year winner, the 23-year-old has been one of the best players in the Premier League over the last couple of seasons, netting as many as 14 goals in all competitions across each of the last two campaigns.

He's phenomenal in the final third and would represent a big upgrade on Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli. The latter only scored once in the league all season for the champions while before bagging against West Ham a few weeks ago, the former was on a barren run of his own. The Belgian was without a goal in a whopping 25 consecutive outings.
On that evidence it was perhaps something of a miracle that Arsenal got over the line. Yet, their success and whatever struggles that did occur was not solely down to what happened on the left flank.
Rogers would be a great improvement but in Monga, they could sign a similar player, not just to the Villa superstar but also to Arsenal's poster boy, Bukayo Saka.
Hailed as "England's Ousmane Dembele" by Como scout Ben Mattinson, he has also referred to the teenager as "one of England's biggest talents."
That feels a tad extreme for a player who was just relegated to League One but believe the hype; Monga is very special.
Only two players in Premier League history have appeared in the division at a younger age and coincidentally, they are Ethan Nwaneri and Max Dowman. That's the type of company the Leicester winger is keeping.
That doesn't necessarily mean he will go onto have an illustrious career but the fact the teen has played 37 games of senior football before his 17th birthday speaks volumes.

7) Aaron Lennon (Leeds)
8) Jose Baxter (Everton)
9) Joel Drakes-Thomas (Palace)
10) Gary McSheffrey (Coventry)
So, what makes him like Rogers and Saka? Well, capable of playing on either flank, the right footed wide man is a spritely attacking threat, someone who gets you on the edge of your seat.
Mattinson refers to Monga as "pacy and an excellent dribbler" who is a "deadly finisher and both-footed ball striker." That certainly sounds like the best of Rogers and Saka doesn't it?

The way the Foxes superstar carries the ball forward is certainly reminscent of Villa's main man while the use of his body in tight spaces is very much like Saka.
Both players are strong off both feet too. While we may not have seen it as much in 2025/26, Arsenal's number 7 has scored a number of goals off his right foot. Smashing the ball home at the goalkeeper's near post is something of a trademark.
Given Monga's age, this might not be a deal that gets supporters too excited but he is very much a player with first team potential, someone who could take England's top-flight by storm before too long.
