Arsenal Champions Parade Fills the Streets with Red Smoke
The summer window may not yet be open, but that hasn’t stopped the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester United and Liverpool all beginning their transfer business early. Arsenal have Morgan Rogers and Eli Junior Kroupi on their attacking wishlist, which is topped by Julian Alvarez. Mikel Arteta also wants a new right-back and central midfielder.
Rafael Leao has also been linked with a more to north London, but it is Manchester United who have made their first move to sign the AC Milan forward. Michael Carrick is also eyeing up Newcastle pair Sandro Tonali and Lewis Hall. Ederson, from Atalanta, is expected to be their first new arrival to replace Casemiro. Incoming Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso is set to be given far more control of new signings than his predecessors, but his first business could be the exits of Enzo Fernandez and Marc Cucurella, who are both attracting interest with Spain, and Alejandro Garnacho, who is simply not wanted. Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton and West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen are both of interest.
Tottenham are finalising the free signings of Marcos Senesi and Andy Robertson, and have reignited interest in Savinho and Morgan Gibbs-White, as they discuss tying Joao Palhinha down to a permanent deal. Liverpool are set to appoint Andoni Iraola as their new manager, while work is done on signing Yan Diomande, who has verbally agreeing to leave Paris Saint-Germain. Barcelona lodge first Alvarez bid
Barcelona believe they are closing in on a deal to sign Julian Alvarez, despite Atletico Madrid’s public stance.
Atletico Madrid questioned reports of an offer from their La Liga rivals over the weekend, but Barcelona maintain that a formal bid worth £86.5 million has been made.
Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo reports that Alvarez has already agreed personal terms on a five-year contract with Barcelona, although the two clubs have yet to reach an agreement on a transfer fee.
The Catalan side appear to be Arsenal’s strongest rivals in the race to sign the Argentine forward, who is no stranger to the Premier League after spending two seasons at Manchester City. During his time in England, Alvarez scored 36 goals, and he has continued his impressive form at Atletico Madrid with 49 goals to date.

In a boost for the Gunners, the attacking midfielder is open to making the switch to the Emirates Stadium. That is according to the BBC, who also claim that preliminary talks with the player’s representatives have already taken place.
Shirt number options for Ederson
Manchester United are closing in on their first signing of the summer transfer window.

Amid strong links to Atalanta midfielder Ederson, it has now been reported by The Athletic that a deal has been struck to make the Brazilian the first new arrival at Old Trafford this summer.
Manchester United have reached agreement with Atalanta to sign Ederson.
As per the Athletic, Man United will pay a €40.5million (£34.9million) fixed fee + €4.5m (£3.8m) of potential bonuses.

Iraola wants Bournemouth quartet at Liverpool
Andoni Iraola is eyeing a quadruple raid on Bournemouth as he edges closer to becoming the next Liverpool head coach.
The Spaniard has reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Liverpool to sign a two-year contract to succeed Arne Slot in the Anfield dugout.
With a switch to Merseyside on the cards, it would appear that Iraola wants to keep the majority of his backroom staff in place, making the transition period smoother.

Next Fulham manager odds
Fulham are on the search for a new manager after confirming the imminent departure of Marco Silva.
As things stand, Ipswich manager Kieran McKenna is favourite, ahead of current former Tottenham and Brentford boss Thomas Frank, who has been a free agent since leaving north London in February.
Frank Lampard, Jose Bordalas and Kjetil Knutsen are the other names in the frame to replace Silva at Craven Cottage before the start of the new Premier League season.
Meanwhile, Arne Slot - sacked by Liverpool at the weekend - has also been tipped to by bookmakers to become the next Fulham manager, along with former player Liam Rosenior, who has been out of work since leaving Chelsea in April.

Agoume to Man Utd?
Manchester United have been offered the chance to finalise a deal for Sevilla midfielder Lucien Agoume.
A midfield rebuild is expected at Old Trafford this summer with United seeking a replacement for Casemiro after the Brazilian departed at the end of the season.
Previously, it was reported that Newcastle's Sandro Tonali, Nottingham Forest's Elliot Anderson and Adam Wharton of Crystal Palace were under consideration by Man Utd in their bid to plug the gap that will be left by Casemiro.
However, reports from Spain claim United could sign Agoume for €25m (£21.5m). This is because Sevilla have to raise funds to balance their books before June 30th.

AC Milan winger Rafa Leao has name-checked both Arsenal and Manchester United as his dream clubs.
“Yeah, of course I like (Manchester) United because my idol is Cristiano Ronaldo, so back then I used to watch them,” he said.
“I like Arsenal as well.”
