Liverpool is closing in on its new manager, with Andoni Iraola having now reached a verbal agreement with the club.
The Reds have moved quickly to secure Arne Slot's successor after the Dutchman was fired at the weekend, and it's thought that Iraola could be unveiled before the end of this week as plans for the summer begin to take shape.

Mohamed Salah's exit means at least one new winger is likely to be high on the list of priorities, and Liverpool has identified Yan Diomande as one of its primary targets. It's not the only club interested though, with European champions Paris Saint-Germain providing some stern competition.
And Ibrahima Konate's departure - and reported move to Real Madrid - could see the Reds target a new center-back, even with Jeremy Jacquet completing his move to Anfield this summer.
