Morgan Rogers will once again be a topic in the transfer market for all top Premier League clubs.

The England international has enjoyed another strong season, racking up 12 assist and 14 goals across 55 appearances in all competitions.

If his domestic form put Rogers on the radar, it was his Europa League exploits that pushed him to another level.

Operating largely between the lines, he featured in 15 matches in Aston Villa’s run to the trophy, producing 3 goals and 5 assists in 1,088 minutes – the most game time of any Villa player in the competition.

He scored in the league stage against Salzburg and Bologna before capping the campaign by netting Villa’s third in the 3‑0 final win over Freiburg in Istanbul, a performance that helped him secure the UEFA Europa League Player of the Season award.

The Athletic has reported that although Liverpool have been watching him with keen interest (even since last season), the Anfield club are not priotising the attacking midfield position this summer:

“Essentially, every top Premier League team admires Rogers. Arsenal, for instance, are among those to have reached out to Rogers’ representatives and asked to be kept informed of his situation.”

“Liverpool, similarly, appreciate Rogers but are prioritising different positions other than an attacking midfielder as they seek to rebuild under new management.”

Rogers’ situation is further complicated by the strength of his contract at Villa Park. The attacking midfielder only signed a new long‑term deal at the end of last year, tying him to the club 2031.

There is no release clause to exploit and no immediate pressure on Villa to cash in, even with so many heavyweights circling around their star man.

As a result, any club hoping to tempt Villa into talks is expected to pay a premium. Recent reports in England have suggested that Villa would demand a fee in the region of £60–70 million for Rogers.
