As first reported by Soccerdonna, Arseblog News understands that Victoria Pelova is set to join Tottenham this summer on a free transfer from Arsenal.
The Dutch midfielder joined the Gunners from Ajax in January 2023 and immediately impressed as a right-winger, before enjoying an outstanding season in central midfield in 2023-24.
In June 2024, she ruptured her ACL on international duty and, by the time she returned, Mariona and Kim Little were established in the Gunners engine room and Pelova struggled to establish herself under Renee Slegers.
Pelova’s contract will expire at the end of this month and there wasn’t really ever any prospect of it being renewed, with the club confirming her departure last month.
The 27-year-old will move across North London to join Martin Ho’s side, who have significantly increased their investment in the women’s team in recent windows, with Kirsty Hanson set to join and Shekeira Martinez already having signed from West Ham.
