Chelsea will be hoping that a few of their players can help them this summer in the race for Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers.
Chelsea are interested in signing Rogers, but several of their Premier League rivals are also keen on the attacking midfielder.
The Blues do not have Champions League football to offer, yet they may not actually be at a disadvantage in the battle for the player’s signature.
Say Morgan Rogers signs for Chelsea – who are you dropping from the XI to fit him in?

Morgan Rogers is close friends with Cole Palmer, Reece James and Levi Colwill
Thanks to Cole Palmer, Reece James and Levi Colwill, Chelsea still appear to be in a good position to sign Rogers.
According to The Athletic, Rogers is “good friends” with all three Chelsea stars. With that in mind, the 23-year-old may fancy a move to Stamford Bridge in the upcoming transfer window.
Chelsea will now be telling the trio to get into Rogers’ ears, especially James, who will be in the England camp with the Villa man at this year’s World Cup.

While James made the cut, Palmer and Colwill were both left out. Colwill only returned to action last month following an ACL injury, while Palmer struggled for form during the 2025/26 season.
Palmer had very similar stats to Arsenal’s Eberechi Eze, but in the end Thomas Tuchel decided to go with the former Crystal Palace man, Rogers and Jude Bellingham for the No.10 position instead of the 24-year-old.
Morgan Rogers’ 2025/26 season stats
It is no surprise that Rogers is one of the No.10s that Tuchel has taken to the World Cup. He had another outstanding season, helping Villa to win the Europa League.
In 15 appearances in Europe’s second tier competition, Rogers scored three goals and provided five assists. The former Middlesbrough man even managed to net in the final.
In the Premier League, he registered 16 goal contributions in 37 outings. For a 23-year-old, Rogers is quite productive.
If Palmer, James and Colwill can persuade Rogers to join them at Chelsea, he would be a good addition to the Blues’ squad.
