Arsenal have been told that a move for Marcus Rashford would be 'great' for the club. The forward has spent the season on loan from Manchester United to Barcelona.

The Spanish club have the option to make the move permanent for a £26 million fee this summer, but that seems unlikely to happen. Barcelona completed the signing of Anthony Gordon from Newcastle last week.

It leaves Rashford and United looking at alternative options. Arsenal’s name has been suggested in some circles, as Mikel Arteta 's side aim to defend their Premier League title next season. Scholes believes it would be a good move all round.
