Arsenal engage in ‘talks’ over Leeds United-linked winger Jeremy Monga
Arsenal are reportedly in talks over a deal to sign Leeds United-linked winger Jeremy Monga from Leicester City.
Widely considered to be among England’s most exciting young prospects, Monga has amassed 37 appearances at first-team level despite being just 16.
The teenage sensation was a bright light in a dismal 2025/26 campaign for Leicester, one that ended in relegation from the Championship.

According to GiveMeSport reporter and talkSPORT commentator Ben Jacobs, the Gunners are in talks over a deal for the England youth international.
Monga could land Leicester a fee in excess of £10m, although it has been suggested a tribunal could be required to determine a final fee.
Posting on X, Jacobs said: “Arsenal are in talks to sign Jeremy Monga. Several top clubs have made approaches for the 16-year-old Leicester City winger.
“Sources say Leicester have received as many as eight formal enquiries from top clubs in England and Europe. Monga could cost in excess of £10m. It is possible a transfer could go to a tribunal to determine a fee.”
Leeds United’s use of youth
Monga would arguably be a coup for any Premier League club and Leeds cannot compete with the likes of Arsenal when it comes to financial power.
Competition for places is not quite as stern at Elland Road, but Whites boss Daniel Farke often exercises caution when it comes to blooding young players.

Since he was appointed as Leeds manager in 2023, the likes of Charlie Cresswell, Darko Gyabi and Joe Gelhardt have had to seek opportunities elsewhere.
However, the likes of Jayden Lienou, Alfie Cresswell and Rhys Chadwick currently appear to be knocking on the door of Farke’s first-team squad.
