Dusan Vlahovic is set to leave Juventus as a free agent this summer, after the Serbian refused to sign a new contract.
The Bianconeri held a final meeting today with him over a new deal, but no compromise was reached. Both parties have now agreed to part ways, according to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
Juventus are now likely to explore a deal for Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo-Muani as his replacement.
Chelsea, Newcastle United and Barcelona interested in Vlahovic
Vlahovic is one of the most prominent strikers in Serie A. He has scored 94 goals and provided 18 assists in 221 appearances in the competition.
The 26-year-old was named in the division’s Team of the Season in 2021/22 and won the Best Striker award in 2023/24.
Gazetta dello Sport claim Chelsea, Newcastle United, and Barcelona have recently spoken with his representative. Bayern Munich are also interested in him.
The said clubs will reportedly offer more in terms of signing bonuses and commission, but none has made a concrete offer yet.
Chelsea have previously been linked with Vlahovic, but are unlikely to pursue a deal, due to his financial demands.
Joao Pedro is expected to continue as the Blues’ first-choice striker next season, after an impressive debut campaign. Chelsea have already rejected Barcelona’s attempt to sign him.
Newcastle are also unlikely to sign Vlahovic, unless either Nick Woltemade or Yoanne Wissa leaves. They might also struggle to meet his demands.
A move to Barcelona looks more plausible for the Serbia international. The La Liga champions want to sign a new striker, although Julian Alvarez is their primary target.
