It seems more likely than ever that Giannis Antetokounmpo will be traded this offseason, and there's a chance it could happen before the NBA Draft. The same teams that were interested in him at the trade deadline seem to be putting their packages back together, and the Miami Heat are the one team that executives think will land the Milwaukee Bucks' star.
While their chances are high, there are still a few problems that persist if that were to happen, according to The Athletic. One of them is the lack of depth the Heat would have if they traded Antetokounmpo, especially if they trade Tyler Herro, Kel’el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr.
Another thing is if that's enough to actually get the Bucks to trade Antetokounmpo. Other teams will probably have better options from other teams.
“Meanwhile, the Bucks are on the lookout for a deal that includes a blue-chip young star or a massive quantity of picks,” The Athletic wrote. “And while there are quality players and picks in any projected Heat offer, it’s not hard to imagine other teams offering a stronger package if the Heat’s aggressiveness improves the market.”

Antetokounmpo's fit with Bam Adebayo in the frontcourt has also been a topic of discussion among executives.
“While Adebayo is a three-time All-Star and six-time NBA All-Defensive Team honoree, he is — despite taking 5.5 3s per game (31.8 percent) last season — not much of a floor spacer,” The Athletic wrote. “That has been a requisite for any center starting alongside Antetokounmpo since former Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer blitzed the league with a five-out, let-it-fly configuration in the 2018-19 season, Antetokounmpo’s first MVP campaign.”
Throughout all the question marks, it still looks like Antetokounmpo wants to join the Heat. Many other teams have been thrown out there recently in rumors like the Oklahoma City Thunder, but they're not looking to move on from Chet Holmgren, according to Brett Siegel.
