The Giannis Antetokounmpo sweepstakes seem to be heating up again, and there is a good chance that he is traded this time around. There were rumors that the Milwaukee Bucks wanted to get a deal done before the NBA Draft, but it's uncertain if they'll get a deal done by then.
The same teams that were interested in him at the trade deadline are putting their names in the hat, but Antetokounmpo has some preferences as to where he'd like to play. One team that had interest was the Golden State Warriors, but it doesn't seem like the Bucks' star likes the idea of playing alongside Stephen Curry, according to NBA insider Jake Fischer.
“I'm not looking at the Warriors as a Giannis team. I don't think, and I have been told, that Giannis isn't enamored with moving to the Western Conference in general, let alone going and being second fiddle to Steph Curry,” Fischer said on Bleacher Report.

If that is true, the Warriors might pump the brakes on trying to go after Antetokounmpo, but he was destined as their top option to pursue this offseason, according to Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints. The problem is that they might not have enough enticing assets for the Bucks.
“Giannis is the Dubs' No. 1 trade option entering the summer yet again, and they will make one last push before the NBA Draft to try to acquire him,” Siegel wrote. “Whether such an offer will involve Green or Butler for financial purposes is unknown at this time, but it's unlikely Golden State will be the ones to win the Antetokounmpo sweepstakes.
That means the Warriors will have to focus on other avenues to get better this offseason, and the first step is looking at the players on their team whom they can re-sign, as well as the No. 11 pick.
