**Several suitors for Chelsea star**

According to the newspaper, several suitors have already expressed interest in recent weeks regarding the ‘realistic possibility’ of signing the Chelsea full-back.
Those in charge at Stamford Bridge would stand in Marc Cucurella’s way this summer. Some club have already begun making inquiries as a result. Barcelona are one of them, but they’re not the only contenders.
Atlético Madrid also ‘long for’ the Catalan player and are trying to convince him from Spain’s training camp in Laz Rozas.
The Chelsea defender has numerous friends on the Spanish team and is frequently seen charting and ‘sharing confidences’ with the Atlético Madrid players according to Sport. That’s particularly the case with Álex Baena.
Marc Pubill is another Atlético Madrid in the squad. In fact, he recently said in a press conference: “I told Cucurella to come with me to Atlético.”

Whether that makes a difference remains to be seen. At this point, there doesn’t appear to be a hard push from Atlético, but more of a flirtation via their players in Spain’s squad.
Reports in England have made it clear that Chelsea are open to selling the 27-year-old this summer. But the question is what their asking price will be.
Having paid €64.3m in 2022, it’s hard to imagine they would accept much less than that. Transfermarkt currently value the defender at €50m, for example. He also has three years left on his current contract, so there is no pressing need to sell Marc Cucurella this summer.
But they are open to the idea and Atlético are seemingly working to convince him on the idea of moving to the Wanda Metropolitano.
