One of the biggest questions of the upcoming NBA offseason is whether or not Giannis Antetokounmpo's tenure with the Milwaukee Bucks will finally reach its conclusion. Giannis and the Bucks have been the subject of trade rumors for the last couple of years, but as of yet, nothing has materialized on that front.
Recently, NBA insider Jake Fischer broke down some teams he does not believe are serious about a potential Giannis pursuit.
“I do not really see Oklahoma City as a team that's going to be in the mix for Giannis Antetokounmpo at this juncture… New York was going to be the team all along if they fell short of the Finals and wanted to make a real aggressive move, and obviously that's not the case anymore…. Minnesota, I don't really see them being a factor,” said Fischer, per Bleacher Report.
He also listed the Cleveland Cavaliers, Houston Rockets, and Boston Celtics as teams he doesn't see as legit threats to acquire Antetokounmpo.

Fischer did list the Miami Heat as a team he thinks could emerge as the most serious contender for the Bucks star.
Overall, Giannis has compiled a scary injury history over the last couple of seasons that certainly will lower his price on the trade market, and the bizarre way that his saga with the Bucks has played out also probably hasn't helped make him an enticing option for opposing franchises.
Still, he is regarded as one of the five best players in the world, and can instantly level a playoff team up into a title threat in the right situation.
It will be fascinating to see how the situation develops as the offseason continues.
