13-goal star lets Arteta know if He’s Joining Arsenal this summer

Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi is reportedly prioritising a move to Paris Saint-Germain this summer despite strong interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and several other European heavyweights.

According to reports emerging from France, the 19-year-old has identified PSG as his preferred destination should he leave Bournemouth during the current transfer window. The French champions are understood to be monitoring the highly-rated attacker, who has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in the Premier League and established himself as one of Europe’s most coveted young forwards.

Kroupi’s rise has been one of the stories of the season. After joining Bournemouth from Lorient in 2025, the France Under-21 international scored 13 goals in his debut Premier League campaign, setting a record for goals scored by a teenager in a first season in England’s top flight.

His performances helped Bournemouth secure Europa League qualification and attracted attention from some of the continent’s biggest clubs.

PSG’s interest is believed to be longstanding, although the Ligue 1 champions face stiff competition. Arsenal have been heavily linked with the teenager as manager Mikel Arteta looks to add more firepower to his attack, while Chelsea are also reported to be closely tracking the striker’s development. Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Barcelona have likewise been credited with interest in recent months.

However, reports suggest Kroupi would favour a return to France with PSG if an agreement can be reached. The prospect of working under Luis Enrique and competing regularly for major honours is believed to be a significant attraction for the player.

Any deal remains far from straightforward. Bournemouth have repeatedly insisted that Kroupi is not for sale and are determined to retain one of the club’s most valuable assets following their historic campaign.

Senior figures at the south coast club have publicly stated that the forward remains central to their long-term plans and point to his lengthy contract as evidence of their strong negotiating position.

Reports in England and France indicate Bournemouth would demand a fee in the region of €100 million (£84 million) before considering offers, a valuation that reflects both Kroupi’s age and his extraordinary potential.

With PSG now reportedly leading the race in the player’s mind, the coming weeks could determine whether Bournemouth can resist growing interest or whether one of Europe’s brightest young talents secures a blockbuster move this summer
