He took to X, formerly Twitter, to disprove any “bandwagon” allegations. Manning went to a Knicks game in January 2025 with his son, proving he's been a fan for longer than this past season.

“Proof I’m not a bandwagon fan! Let’s go [Knicks!]” he wrote after resurfacing the picture of himself and his son at the game in 2025.
In the original post, he posted a selfie of himself with his son with the caption, “I’m hoping the Knicks win. Charlie is hoping I let him wear this foam finger to school on Monday. [New York forever.]”
Manning played for the Giants from 2004 to 2019, so it makes sense that he's a Knicks supporter. He has become entrenched in the New York and New Jersey area, even after his retirement.

The 2026 NBA Finals will commence on Wednesday, June 3, in San Antonio. Games 1 and 2 will be played in San Antonio before Games 3 and 4 are played at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The Knicks have the chance to win the franchise's first championship since 1973. Their last NBA Finals appearance was in 1999, when they lost to the Spurs in five games. This marked San Antonio's first championship as a franchise. They'd go on to win four more in the years since.
During the regular season, the Knicks and Spurs met in the finals of the NBA Cup. New York came out on top in that contest. They would split the next two contests against each other in the regular season. If their regular season matchups are any indication, the NBA Finals will be fun to watch.
