‘Everyone knows what I want’ – Andreas Christensen offers update on his Barcelona future

Andreas Christensen has spoken out about his future and made it clear once again that he’s hoping to continue with Barcelona.

“Yes, this is all I can confirm [that he would like to stay at Barça]. There is not much new. I don’t have much to share, but I hope to be able to do it soon. Everyone knows what I want and where my head is, so I hope everything falls into place soon,” he told reporters.

Christensen returned from a long injury lay-off at the end of the season and has now linked up with the Denmark national team for friendlies against Congo and Ukraine and says he’s feeling good.

“It’s been a long five months, but I feel like I’m in a good moment right now. These international matches can help me feel better during the summer,” he added.

”The last injury was the result of an accident. I would have loved to have played more minutes, but it wasn’t something I could control.”

Christensen played 56 minutes of Denmark’s friendly against Congo on Wednesday as the two sides played out a 0-0 draw.
