Spurs to make incredible off-court gesture vs Knicks in NBA Finals

The Spurs are planning to donate 1,000 tickets to non-profit organizations, allowing children and families to watch and enjoy the NBA Finals.

The San Antonio Spurs are fully considerate of everyone being involved in the 2026 NBA Finals energy, as they are reportedly looking to give children and families the opportunity to watch their championship series against the New York Knicks.

According to Tim Reynolds of Associated Press, the Spurs will donate 1,000 tickets to non-profit organizations.

The gesture is to simply “create opportunities for young people & families who may not otherwise have the chance to attend a Spurs game.” Per Reynolds, the Spurs organization already managed to hand out 22,000 tickets throughout the season.

It's not only the Spurs who are committed to an off-court cause. The Knicks, through the Garden of Dreams Foundation, are also donating tickets to underprivileged fans for the NBA Finals.

Both teams are set to collide starting with Wednesday's Game 1 in San Antonio.
