SAN ANTONIO - As the San Antonio Spurs begin their NBA Finals matchup against the New York Knicks, the organization is ensuring some of the city's youngest fans have a chance to experience the excitement firsthand.
The Spurs announced Wednesday they will provide up to 1,000 tickets during the NBA Finals to local nonprofit organizations that serve youth across San Antonio. The tickets will allow children, teens, and families who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend a game to experience the excitement of the Finals in person.

The giveaway is part of the team's ongoing commitment to community outreach and is not a new initiative. Throughout the 2025-26 season, the Spurs donated more than 22,000 tickets to community organizations across the region, helping connect local youth and families with Spurs basketball.
With Finals ticket prices reaching hundreds, and in some cases thousands, of dollars on the secondary market, the donated tickets provide a rare opportunity for many families to attend one of the biggest sporting events in San Antonio.
