PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - Former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has announced his retirement from the NFL.
Wilson, spent 10 seasons with the Seahawks and led them to a Super Bowl win in 2013, posted a video to social media on Wednesday confirming his retirement.
The 10-time Pro Bowler also played for the Denver Broncos, Pittsburgh Steelers, and New York Giants prior to his retirement.
Wilson recently finalized a deal to become a Sunday NFL pregame show analyst after reportedly mulling an offer to join the New York Jets and back up Geno Smith.
