Mitchell Robinson (hand) is available for the NBA Finals opener vs Spurs.
Mitchell Robinson is all set to play for the New York Knicks to start the NBA Finals.
New York Knicks / Schedule
Ahead of Wednesday's title series opener in San Antonio against the Spurs, the Knicks have formally announced that Robinson (hand) is available.
Robinson was initially listed as questionable to play, but there were expectations already that he would suit up for Game 1 after Shams Charania of ESPN revealed a key update.
Reports broke out that Robinson broke his right hand right after the Knicks swept the Cleveland Cavaliers in the past Eastern Conference Finals. The veteran center subsequently underwent surgery in hopes of keeping his availability for New York.
With Robinson in the lineup, the Knicks can only be cautiously optimistic of handling his on-court exposure for the remainder of the series.
