The officials briefly halted the game before resuming with a jump ball. The fan exited without making contact with any players from both teams.
Game 2 is scheduled for Friday, also at Frost Bank Center in San Antonio. Security personnel are expected to tighten measures to avoid any similar situations.

Wembanyama and the Spurs built a lead of as much as 14 points but could not secure a victory, losing 105-95. Jalen Brunson spearheaded New York’s charge with 30 points, three rebounds and two assists. Karl-Anthony Towns supported him with an 18-point, 12-rebound double-double.
Meanwhile, Wembanyama scored 26 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and blocked three shots. Julian Champagnie contributed 16 points and 10 rebounds, along with Stephon Castle’s 17 points and eight rebounds. Both teams struggled with efficiency from the field, but the Knicks made timely baskets to take a 1-0 series lead and seize homecourt advantage.
