The first game of the 2026 NBA Finals was briefly paused when a fan ran onto the court.

The incident happened during the fourth quarter on Wednesday, June 3. The fan ran across to the three-point line where San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama was standing, and appeared to try to take a selfie with the player.

Two security guards at Frost Bank Center scrambled to usher the man off the court while the boos rained down from the crowd. It did not appear that the man made contact with any Spurs or New York Knicks players.
