Arsenal Champions Parade Fills the Streets with Red Smoke

Transfer news LIVE!

Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are all expected to be busy once the summer transfer window officially opens, though plenty of work is being done behind the scenes. The Gunners, the newly-crowned Premier League champions, are set to spend big again as Mikel Arteta sets his sights on retaining the title and going one step further in the Champions League.

Morgan Rogers, Jeremy Monga and Julian Alvarez have been linked with moves to the Emirates Stadium, while there could be some significant outgoings. Man United, meanwhile, are closing in on the signing of midfielder Ederson after reaching an agreement with Atalanta for a £35million deal which can be partly funded by the official sale of Rasmus Hojlund. Incoming Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso could lose both Enzo Fernandez and Marc Cucurella - both attracting interest from Spain - but Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton and West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen are said to be on the shortlist.

Tottenham are finalising the free signings of Marcos Senesi and Andy Robertson, and a deal for Savinho has been teased. Liverpool are hoping to appoint Andoni Iraola as their new manager imminently and Manchester City have seen an offer for Elliot Anderson rejected. Jesus to Merseyside?

It has been widely reported that Gabriel Jesus is free to leave Arsenal this summer.

The Brazilian has been linked with a return to his homeland and Italy, but Everton could hand him a chance to stay in the Premier League.

However, Football Insider claim the Toffees want the Gunners to reduce their £20m asking price for a deal to be feasible.

When does the summer window open and close?

The transfer window officially opens Monday, June 15, and runs until Deadline Day, on Tuesday, September 1.

The window will close at 11pm on Deadline Day, which is later than the 7pm close in January.

Man City see Anderson bid rejected

The Athletic report that City, who will undergo a rebuild this summer after three key departures, have formalised their interest in Nottingham Forest’s rising star.

City will see Pep Guardiola leave the Etihad Stadium after a decade in charge, while John Stones and Bernardo Silva - two stalwarts of the Guardiola era - will also leave upon the expiration of their respective contracts.

David Ornstein reported on Wednesday night that City had made an offer for the England international, who will play for his country at the World Cup this summer.

That offer has been knocked back by Forest, who are looking to get the best possible price for their in-demand midfielder.

Man Utd eye Hall

Manchester United are targetting Lewis Hall as they look to strengthen at left-back.

The Red Devils have Luke Shaw and Patrick Dorgu as options in that position, but Michael Carrick is determined to improve on the pair, according to The Athletic.

He sees England defender Hall as the ideal target.

Arsenal handed transfer boost as Atletico identify Alvarez replacement

Standard Sport understands that the Gunners hold a keen interest in bringing the Argentine back to the Premier League, where he shone at Manchester City before his move to Spain in a deal worth around £81million.

It is believed that Alvarez was also discussed at the Emirates Stadium last summer, before Mikel Arteta and the Arsenal hierarchy decided to land Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon for £63.5m instead.

Arsenal find Odegaard alternative

FIchajaes claim that Arsenal have identified Dani Olmo as an ideal replacement for Martin Odegaard.

The Spaniard, who currently plays for Barcelona, could be available for €60million.

Real Madrid 'announce' Mourinho?

Has Florentino Perez just leaked Jose Mourinho’s announcement as Real Madrid manager?

It seems so, with the club president including the Portuguese in his promotional video posted to his election campaign social media pages on Wednesday evening.

Ajax eye ter Stegen

Ajax want to sign Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

Sport reports that the Eredivisie side want the German for his ability with his feet and leadership.

He played under new manager Michel at Girona, on loan from Barcelona, where he has been ousted as the No1 by Joan Garcia.

Palace continue new manager talks

Crystal Palace are advancing in talks with Pierre Sage about becoming the Eagles’ new boss.

The Frenchman is set to leave Lens this summer, and has become the favourite to take over at Selhurst Park.

It has been widely reported that he has held talks with Palace over replacing Oliver Glasner in the south London dugout.
