Chiefs News 6/3: Rashee Rice receiving knee treatment while in jail

As far as I'm aware, the Chiefs have generally carried the following numbers

2-3 QBs

3-4 RBs

6-7 WRs

3-4 TEs

9-10 O-line

9-10 D-line

9-11 DBs

5-6 LBs

Punter, Kicker, Long Snapper. They tend to keep the Offense and Defense fairly evenly split, 24 on one side, 26 on the other, or 25 each.

Based on what you've seen this offseason, the draft, OTAs, free agency, etc., how many of each do you think the Chiefs put on their 53?

Personally, I think they'll do 3 QBs, 4 RBs, 6 WRs, 4 TEs, 9 O-line, 9 D-line, 10 DBs, and 5 LBs.

If they keep those numbers, and they keep the predictable ones, I think the roster spots people are competing for are TE3, TE4, WR6, O-line depth, and D-line depth.

I expect the DBs to be Delane, Fulton, Williams, Hicks, Conner, Gilman, Elam, Kohou, Roland-Wallace, Canady -- if anyone of those gets beat out for a roster spot, I'd expect them to try and trade them away.

5 LBs, Bolton, Tranquil, Bassa, Cochrane, McDonald -- it's possible someone displaces McDonald or Cochrane, but I don't know which position group they'd shrink to keep 6 LBs(Unless they decide to give up on the Nussmeier experiment)
