Former Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has just received the transfer update he won't want to hear after Real Madrid agreed a deal to sign Inter Milan defender Denzel Dumfries.
Sky Sports claim the Dutch international has completed his medical at Los Blancos, and will sign a four-year deal with the La Liga giants.
Real triggered a £17.3m clause in Dumfries' Inter Milan contract and the 30-year-old is closing in on a move to Spain.

It's a blow for Alexander-Arnold who was expected to make the right-back slot at the Bernabeu his own following his move from the Reds.
Dani Carvahal has been a mainstay at right-back for Real during recent years, but his departure had opened the door for the former Liverpool full-back.
Alexander-Arnold has struggled with both injuries and form since his move to Los Blancos, and will now have further competition for his place.

It's another setback for the 27-year-old, who was left out of Thomas Tuchel's England squad for the upcoming World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
There are also no Reds stars in the England squad for the first time in four decades.

"I'm very confident in the group that we chose," Tuchel said when explaining his 26-man squad for the tournament. "Very difficult decisions and painful conversations; difficult for the players and to explain the decisions.
"But what we try to achieve, we tried to nominate a balanced squad. We have to leave some extraordinary talents at home.
"If we pick these names, then other big names would have been left out and then we would talk about those names."
