However, journalist Florian Plettenberg has revealed Bayern Munich and Brown have reached a verbal agreement over a summer transfer, which is a blow for Arsenal.
After having fruitful conversations with Vincent Kompany, the 22-year-old is keen to join Bayern and a contract until 2031 has effectively been agreed for the Eintracht Frankfurt defender.
The deal is yet to be done, with €60 million (£51 million) demanded by Franfkurt sporting director Markus Krosche.

Bayern are in contact with Brown’s agency SGE to secure the player’s services as Arsenal will seemingly have to look elsewhere in the event that they need to sign a new left-back.
Arsenal should consider Lewis Hall move
Manchester Evening News have reported that it will be difficult for Newcastle United to say no to a potential £70 million offer for Lewis Hall.
While the fee is steep, there is no questioning that Hall is a top left-back and in the event that Calafiori leaves Arsenal this summer, the Englishman would be an incredible alternative to Brown. The former Chelsea starlet is solid defensively, a top-class technician, adept at driving with the ball, putting in inch-perfect crosses and has Premier League experience.
Despite Piero Hincapie’s heroics for Arsenal, one could argue that Hall would be an upgrade on him.
