Chelsea are willing to sell Alejandro Garnacho this summer just 12 months after signing the winger from Manchester United.

The Blues secured the Argentine from their Premier League rivals this time last year, but the switch has not worked out as planned for the club or the player and already those in west London are ready to cut their losses.

Garnacho was adamant that Chelsea was the perfect destination for him to rebuild his career after falling out of favour under previous United boss Ruben Amorim. However the 21-year-old failed to nail down a regular spot and found himself on the bench more often than not.

Enzo Maresca, Liam Rosenior and Calum McFarlane all preferred some of Chelsea's other options in the final third and that meant Garnacho started just 14 Premier League games, scoring only once.

The Daily Mail reports that, ahead of another new era with Xabi Alonso, the club are ready to listen to offers for the player they spent £40million on only last year.

The Blues could see a number of their forward stars move on if they receive suitable offers. Liam Delap is another player who looks to have lost the club's backing after only one season. The ex-Ipswich striker suffered a major injury, but either side of that had limited impact.

Nicolas Jackson will return from his loan spell at Bayern Munich, but was deemed surplus to requirements with Joao Pedro arriving. Chelsea will again need to find a buyer for the Senegal international. Goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen and Axel Disasi are other likely departures.

Jamie Gittens was another player signed last summer, joining from Borussia Dortmund. He too struggled to make himself a regular but the Blues are prepared to afford the winger more time to prove himself at Stamford Bridge.

Sporting Lisbon's Geovany Quenda, who was signed in March 2025, will make his move to London this summer with Alonso likely to want more arrivals. Chelsea will also be keen to retain Enzo Fernandez despite the midfielder talking up a move to Real Madrid.

The Blues will demand notable improvements on a season that saw them finish in tenth having lost seven of their final ten games. They went through three different managers with Alonso the fourth permanent boss since 2022.
