He did not perform well against Chicago, and many Green Bay fans were cursing him out for his performance. For some reason, he is still on the Packers roster for another season. With the Bears winning the last three of four meetings now against the Packers, the rivalry is back to meaning something once again. Green Bay finished with a 9-7-1 record last season. The Bears won the NFC North with an 11-6 record last season.

Nixon met with the media on Wednesday to talk about the Packers-Bears rivalry. He had some interesting things to say about the rivalry no doubt. Nixon said,
“They hate us more than we hate them. We’ve been worried about other teams… Our process is not the Chicago Bears. Thats not our Super Bowl. Our process is to win the NFC North first. We gotta beat them anyway.”
The last time that Green Bay won the NFC North title was the 2021 NFL season. Ever since then, Chicago has won the division once, the Minnesota Vikings have won the division once, and the Detroit Lions have won the division twice. The Packers have the longest NFC North divisional title drought. Chicago and Detroit will be the favorites to win the division over Green Bay once again this season. They are going to be a fringe playoff team.
