Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United need to move quick as Bayern Munich talks progress

Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City face disappointment this summer at Eintracht Frankfurt star Nathaniel Brown appears set to join Bayern Munich.

Sky Sport Germany report that the 22-year-old wants to join Bayern ‘with immediate effect’ after speaking to Vincent Kompany.

Bayern Munich advance

Sky report that Bayern Munich and Eintracht Frankfurt are in talks over the left back, who held ‘very positive talks’ with Kompany about a move to the Allianz Arena.

Frankfurt have already set their stall out for the defender. Director of football Markus Krösche is demanding is demanding €60m for the German international.

There is no agreement between the clubs yet. Sky also inists there’s still a chance it could fail because of that asking price.

What Bayern are willing to pay for the highly rated full-back, is yet to be disclosed. But they are now at the front of the queue after holding talks with him. Indeed, he wants the move to Bavaria as soon as possible.

Bad news for Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United

That should come as bad news for Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City. Reports in Germany have credited all three with an interest over the last year.

Indeed, Sport Witness covered a report earlier this year in which Nathaniel Brown was asked directly about the potential interest from Arsenal and Manchester City. He played it down as his focus was on the World Cup.

There’s also been various reports explaining how his former club FC Nuremberg are set to benefit this summer if any of the Premier League trio buy Brown at €60m.

However, it now appears that he may be destined for Bayern Munich. With the player keen on the move, they definitely have the upper hand on Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City at this point.

But with an apparent reluctance to spend €60m, perhaps there’s time yet. The trio need to convince Brown that the Premier League would be the better choice.
