He will play a significant role in helping us continue to elevate Wisconsin Football.”

UW officials said that as the program’s General Manager, Brown will be in charge of roster management, player personnel and operations for the team football team, working closely with coach Luke Fickell and his staff.

“I’m excited and extremely grateful for the opportunity to join the Wisconsin Badgers football program as their new General Manager,” Brown said. “I look forward to working in lockstep with Coach Fickell and truly believe that we can create something special in Madison together. God is great, all things are possible, and let’s go Badger Nation!”

Brown is joining the Badgers after eight years with the Indianapolis Colts, both as their Chief Personnel Executive (2023-25) and their Director of College Scouting (2017-22).

Before his time with the Colts, Brown worked as the Vice President of Player Personnel with the Cleveland Browns from 2014-2016. Brown also worked as the Director of Pro Personnel for the Washington Commanders from 2008-2013, including their 2012 NFC East Championship season.

Brown’s first NFL role dates back to 2001, when he because the Assistant Director of Pro Personnel for the Chicago Bears until 2008, when the team won three NFC North titles and made it to the 2007 Super Bowl.

“Morocco is a great addition to our program and our staff is looking forward to working with him,” Fickell said. “He brings a lot of NFL experience and has an eye for what it takes to excel at both the collegiate level as well as professional football. He has been evaluating college players for years and will be a strong asset to both our current roster as well as building for the future.”
