Liverpool is said to be ahead of PSG in the transfer race to sign 19-year-old winger Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig this summer, though the Bundesliga side is still hopeful of being able to keep hold of the teenager.
Signed from Leganes last summer, Diomande scored 13 goals and laid on another 10 assists for his teammates in the season just gone. Liverpool and PSG are among the teams keen on signing him this summer.
And according to The Athletic, as things stand, Liverpool has the edge over PSG with the latter's interest "not currently as advanced". If he does leave Leipzig, Diomande will command a fee well in excess of $100M with the Red Bull club wanting to retain its star man for one more season.
The latest suggestion is that Leipzig will demand a fee of $151 million (£112 million) to let Diomande leave. It remains to be seen if either Liverpool or PSG would be willing to get near that price tag.
"Paris Saint-Germain is a team I’ve loved since I was a child," Diomande told French television this week. "My father supports Paris Saint-Germain, and it’s a team I admire as a football fan.
"It would be a pleasure for me to come and play at Paris with one of the biggest clubs... It’s always a pleasure to come here also because with French being spoken, I think adapting wouldn’t be difficult.

"But why not? I remain focused on the World Cup. After that, the clubs will sort things out between themselves and then we’ll see what happens next."
The teenager had previously said it would be his father's "dream" to see him play for Liverpool, and has publicly stated that he is in no rush to leave Leipzig.
"My idol before was Cristiano Ronaldo and I also like R9, but I am looking at a lot of players like Vini and [Kylian] Mbappe," Diomande told Sky Sports a few days ago.
"I am trying to look at players who play the same position as me to try to take the good things and reproduce them on the pitch."

Liverpool is seeking to add pace and quality in the final third this summer, with Bradley Barcola another player regularly put forward as an option.
Andoni Iraola is expected to take charge of the club as head coach imminently, with plenty of work to be done this summer by way of improving the roster of players at his disposal.
Big-money signings from last summer, Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz, will also be among those that Iraola is tasked from getting more out of when his spell at Anfield officially begins.
