Productive Final Season at Delaware

Duplessis enters the NFL after a productive career with the Delaware Blue Hens.

During the 2025 season, the 5-foot-11, 190-pound receiver hauled in 60 receptions for 824 yards and five touchdowns while averaging 13.7 yards per catch.

The Woodbridge, Virginia native finished his college career as one of Delaware’s top offensive weapons and now gets an opportunity to prove himself at the professional level.

Opportunity Awaits in Detroit

While making the Lions’ 53-man roster will be a difficult challenge, Duplessis joins a team that values competition and development.

Detroit’s wide receiver room is led by Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams, and second-year receiver Isaac TeSlaa. However, additional depth opportunities could emerge following Law’s season-ending injury.

Training camp and preseason games will provide Duplessis with an opportunity to showcase his speed, route-running ability, and special teams value.

Looking to Follow the Lions’ Developmental Blueprint

General manager Brad Holmes has consistently looked for undrafted and overlooked prospects who fit Detroit’s culture.

Duplessis now becomes the latest player to receive an opportunity to earn a role in Allen Park.

Whether that ultimately leads to a spot on the active roster, practice squad, or elsewhere, the former Delaware standout has officially received his chance.
