Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell chatted with the media on Thursday in Eagan, following practice during the second week of OTA workouts. The quarterback position is a topic of interest.
O’Connell was asked about Kyler Murray and J.J. McCarthy building a relationship in practice. O’Connell said the two have handled their relationship professionally during OTAs.

“There’s many times where Kyler maybe had a question that mirrored a question that J.J. had during his year on the grass last year playing, and there’s dialogue that comes,” O’Connell said. “There’s been tweaks to the offense we’ve made based off those conversations. He’s been great in the meeting rooms and great on the grass.”
