Spurs’ Dylan Harper appears to repost wild NSFW TikTok flaming De’Aaron Fox

On Wednesday evening, the San Antonio Spurs fell behind 0-1 in their NBA Finals series against the New York Knicks. The Spurs led this one by 14 points at one point in the second half, but ultimately, they were out-executed in the crunch by a more experienced Knicks team.

Arguably the worst performance of the night for the Spurs came from De'Aaron Fox, who shot an abysmal 3-13 from the field and registered just seven points.

On Thursday, Spurs rookie guard Dylan Harper, who was arguably their best player in Game 1, appeared to repost a video on his TikTok account making fun of Fox's rough game, likening him to some of the playoff woes experienced by Cleveland Cavaliers guard James Harden.

The video has since been deleted from Harper's account.

Harper did not shy away from the moment at all in his first NBA Finals game, scoring 16 points on six of ten shooting and grabbing eight rebounds. In fact, many Spurs fans were puzzled with head coach Mitch Johnson's to take the rookie sensation out of the game in the final minutes, when he was one of the few sources of consistent offense for San Antonio in the contest.

Still, the apparent TikTok repost probably won't do much to help the Spurs' team chemistry moving forward, and hopefully, Fox and Harper are able to talk things out and get on the same page before Game 2.

To have a chance to win this series, the Spurs will need Fox to play at an average level moving forward. Fox is clearly not operating at 100 percent due to a previous injury, but the NBA Finals are not the time for excuses.

Game 2 is set for Friday evening in San Antonio.
