The New York Knicks took down the San Antonio Spurs in Game 1 of the NBA Finals and appear to be in great spirits heading into Game 2. At least, if forward Josh Hart is any indication.
Both teams took to Frost Bank Center for media day on Thursday afternoon before Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Friday night. It was a quick turnaround from prior years, when teams would have an off day and a practice day before Game 2 of the NBA Finals.
The ever-joyful Josh Hart was asked a soccer question to close out his pre-game media availability, and responded just how you'd expect Josh Hart to respond.
“Arsenal is not humble because— Have they ever won a champions league?” Hart said with a vigor. “How long have they been around? They never won that? Okay. London's blue, never red. Up to Chelsea.”

This comes after Josh Hart posted a historic performance in Game 1 of the NBA Finals. In 27 minutes of play, Hart finished with three points, 15 rebounds, six assists, four steals, and one blocked shot.
The Knicks forward became the first player to record at least 15 rebounds, six assists, and four steals in a playoff game while playing under 30 minutes.
Hart's effort were huge, as Karl-Anthony Towns recorded 10 of his 18 points in the third quarter while Jalen Brunson scored 13 of his 30 points in the fourth quarter close out the Spurs, who led by double-digits in the third quarter of Game 1.
Both teams feel like they can play much better than the efforts they displayed in Game 1, so it'll be interesting to see how both teams adjust to a 1-0 lead, a 0-1 deficit, and the added pressures of an NBA Finals game.
Game 2 will be tipping off at 8:30PM EST on ABC.
