On Thursday, the team officially announced a major rebranding, unveiling a new primary logo, an updated color scheme and an entirely new set of uniforms.
The Rockets are ditching their silver secondary accents and bringing back championship yellow. This marks a full return to the classic red and yellow color palette they famously wore during their back-to-back NBA championship runs in 1994 and 1995.
The core "R" logo remains, but the silver drop shadow has been replaced with a vibrant yellow outline. They also introduced a new global logo featuring the "R" set inside a space mission-style triangle patch.
The fan-favorite astronaut logo has been updated and officially brought into the primary branding identity to celebrate Houston’s deep ties to NASA
